Newcomb's snail (Erinna newcombi) is endemic to Kaua'i. They are listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN. They are restricted in range to about six populations in freshwater streams, and are threatened by invasive species such as the predatory rosy wolf snail, as well as hydrologic alterations such as for diverting of waterways for large-scale agriculture.
