2.35" x 2.35" weatherproof, waterproof vinyl sticker made here in Hawai'i.
Mongooses are often used as an example of a "failed" biocontrol in Hawai'i and a cautionary tale of why biocontrols are scary or ineffective. In reality, mongooses were introduced by sugarcane plantation owners--private parties with no ecological knowledge and definitely not people with Hawaii's best interests in mind.
Hawai'i has had many successful biocontrols, but unfortunately these are rarely talked about and often overshadowed by misinformation.
